It operates two segments, Logistics Business and Real Estate Business. The Logistics Business segment offers various logistics services, such as warehousing and cargo handling, port-related work and transportation, overseas logistics, multimodal forwarding, airfreight forwarding, third-party logistics, supply chain management support, and land transportation. The Real Estate Business segment provides building leasing services. The company also operates container terminals that connect sea and land distribution in the ports of Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Yokkaichi, Osaka, Kobe, and Moji. In addition, it provides ship arrival and departure procedures; ship agency operations, such as issuing cargo certificates; and conventional shipping tasks comprising the proposal of optimal handling services for a range of cargoes. The company was formerly known as Mitsui-Soko Co., Ltd. and changed its name to MITSUI-SOKO HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. in October 2014. MITSUI-SOKO HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1909 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
