Its products include alloy, aluminum, stainless steel, nickel, carbon, and titanium in plate, sheet, extrusions, round bar, hexagon bar, square and flat bar, tubing, and coil forms. The company also performs various specialized fabrications for its customers through subcontractors, which thermally process, turn, polish, cut-to-length, and straighten alloys and carbon bars. It serves Fortune 500 companies, and medium and smaller sized firms primarily in the aerospace and defense, power generation, mining, heavy industrial equipment, and general manufacturing industries, as well as general engineering applications. A. M. Castle & Co. was founded in 1890 and is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois.
