Fixed income securities in which the fund principally invests are defined as securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government or its agencies, instrumentalities or sponsored corporations; TIPS; municipal bonds (the fund may invest up to 20% of its portfolio in municipal bonds); asset-backed securities; etc.
